“I’m really trying hard at college because I want to graduate and I’m not the world’s best student,” said Lola. “So I study a lot and put a lot of time into my assignments. So, as far as my folks are concerned, whenever I talk to them on the phone or text them, I’m either in the library or doing work in my dorm room. They’ve actually told me that they’re worried that I don’t have any social time, and I’ll bet you that they think I’m still a virgin. I’ve never mentioned my boyfriend to them: not because I’m ashamed of him or anything like that, but I want to keep him in the shadows so I can date him and screw him without them fussing about it.”
